Did someone say cocktail? Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the Walt Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been serving up Polynesian inspired drinks and food since 2015. They have a brand new cocktail, the Hippopotomai-Tai!
There’s nothing like the flavors of a Mai Tai to put you in the vacation spirit! The combination of rum, lime, and orange transport us to a Polynesian Tiki Room and puts a smile across our face!
The Hippopotomai-Tai cocktail has Coruba Dark Rum, Bacardi Superior Rum, Bols Orange Curacao, Orgeat (Almond), Organic Agave Nectar, and fresh Lime Juice! Paradise in a cup! You get this adorable smiling ceramic keepsake cup! On the back, it says Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. In addition to the cup, you get a tasty Mai Tai all for $23.43!
Check out Chip and Co.’s own Julie showing off the new cup on Instagram! Then, next time you are in Disney World make sure to sit out by Trader Sam’s waterfall, relax, and sip your Hippopotomai-Tai!
On the west coast, Trader Sam’s also has some fantastic tiki options! Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel is an immersive establishment inspired by the Jungle Cruise that takes you on an adventure to a south sea tropical oasis. The enchanted bar has recently released FOUR new tiki mugs and two new drinks, and we’re sure fans can’t wait to check them out HERE.
