Hallmark and Disney World Partner for First-Ever Original Movie: ‘Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True’
Big news has arrived from Hallmark Channel and The Most Magical Place On Earth! In a historic, first-ever collaboration between the two holiday powerhouses, an all-new, original holiday movie titled ‘Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True’ is set to debut during Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event next year in 2026.
This soon-to-be classic romance will be filmed entirely on location at Walt Disney World in Florida.

An All-Star Holiday Cast
The film features a star-studded cast known for bringing holiday magic to life, including Lacey Chabert, Travis Van Winkle, and Richard Kind, alongside Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Dufee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna making a cameo role. The script was written by and is set to be directed by Ryan Landels.
Plot Details: Rivalry Turns to Romance
The story centers on Lindsey (Lacey Chabert), who travels to Walt Disney World with her extended family to spend a magical Christmas together. However, her jolly holiday dream is dashed when she discovers her room is next door to Philip (Travis Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she had recently, who is also there on a family trip.
As their paths continually cross throughout their stay, the initial frost between them begins to thaw. Thanks to the magic of Walt Disney World and the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella Fountain, their rivalry just might turn into romance.

Decades-Long Partnership Brought to Screen
This collaboration extends a long-standing history between the two brands. “The partnership between Hallmark and Disney dates back decades, when a shared Kansas City connection and friendship between Hallmark’s founder, J.C. Hall, and Walt Disney himself led to our first-ever licensed products, including the very first greeting card featuring Mickey Mouse,” said Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer, Hallmark. “We’re thrilled to expand our relationship beyond the products we create together and onto the screen…”
Sally Conner, VP Global Content, also shared her excitement: “Storytelling is at the heart of both Disney and Hallmark, and that magic shines even brighter during the holidays. We’re thrilled that Walt Disney World will serve as the immersive setting for a Hallmark holiday movie highlighting the cheerful festivities of the season.”
Lacey Chabert previously made a special appearance live from Magic Kingdom Park during Hallmark Channel’s broadcast of The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday, confirming the film’s production.

Co-Branded Holiday Products On The Way
The partnership won’t stop at the movie screen. Next holiday season, fans can experience the magic with a collection of Disney and Hallmark products inspired by the film. The collection will feature greeting cards, ornaments, gifts, gift wrap, and other unique offerings, available at select Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Hallmark.com, and other retailers.
