One of the most anticipated festivals of the year is just around the corner. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will take place for the 24th year from August 29 to November 23!
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is a foodie’s paradise with fresh flavors abound at 30 Global Marketplaces located in Future World and the World Showcase. Foodies and non-foodies alike will have no problems discovering the flavors showcased during this festival. There will be new offerings such as the new Kenyan Coffee Barbecue Beef Tenderloin in the Africa Marketplace or the plant-based Cottage Pie located at Earth Eats. Guests can discover a whole new world while eating and sipping!
The “Disney du Jour Dance Party” is back again by popular demand. Future World is the site of this popular dance party and, even better, it will expand to seven days a week! Sundays through Thursdays guests will find a DJ spinning up interactive fun. Radio Disney stars will take the stage on Fridays and Saturdays with live performances. Actress and singer Meg Donnelly from the Disney Channel original movie “Zombies” will be kicking off the opening weekend. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt and the popular Candy Sushi interactive experience are a few other activities that are sure to keep the family entertained.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will also be returning this year, through November 19. Concerts will be held daily three times per night. In all, there will be 249 concerts performed! Would you like to guarantee a seat to one of these concerts? Be sure to book an Eat to the Beat Dining Package for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of the many EPCOT restaurants.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will be welcoming some new concert acts this year. Would you like a sneak peek at the act? Well, you’re in luck! New concert acts include Sawyer Brown (“Thank God for You”); Lauren Daigle (“You Say”); Boyce Avenue (“Anchor”); and Kris Allen (“Live Like We’re Dying”). Of course, festival favorites such as Plain White T’s, Sugar Ray, Hanson, Sheila E. and Boyz II Men, among many others will be back to join the party!
Foodies will not want to miss some new culinary adventures that are being offered this year. Bookings will open on May 15 for :
- Party for the Senses at World Showplace Events Pavilion, the sensational event featuring chefs and vintners from around the world. (Select Saturdays through Nov. 9)
- Sunday Brunch with the Chef, hosted by celebrity chefs such as Cat Cora, Andrew Zimmern, Buddy Valastro, and others. (Select Sundays through Nov. 17)
- “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!” hands-on workshops that let you rub shoulders with visiting chefs, bakers, mixologists, and other pros. (Select Mondays and Thursdays through Nov. 14)
What do you think about these additions? Let me know in the comments.
