One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort is the new food offerings and I am very excited about the newest one! I think everyone is familiar with the concept of a create-your-own bowl meal. Personally, these are some of my favorites. (Wrap it in a burrito and it’s even better!) Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has composed a masterpiece with their new Create-Your-Own Southwest Bowls.
You can create your very own composition for lunch or dinner at this new station. The concept is really simple! First, you start with a Base and add one Protein. Next, you choose your Vegetables and apply your Sauce. Finally, a variety of House-made Toppings are added.
There is a total of 3 different bases from which you may choose: Cilantro-Lime Rice, Black Beans, and Pinto Beans. You have a choice of adding Slow-Roasted Adobo Pulled Pork, Braised Ancho-Rubbed Beef, Chili-Spiced Grilled Chicken or Plant-based Feisty Crumbles as your one protein. Your vegetable choices include Shredded Romaine, Sautéed Peppers and Onions, or Charred Corn Salsa. There are two sauces available – White Cheddar and Jalapeño Queso or Spicy Tomato Sauce. There is a multitude of toppings that you can use to craft your creation. These include Chipotle Dressing, House-made Roasted Tomato Salsa, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Citrus-Cilantro Sour Cream, Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, and Plant Cheddar Shreds.
Your masterpiece can be created for only $12.99. Assuming that you only add one ingredient in each step, that is 576 different combinations that can be composed! Take a look at one of our creations. Doesn’t it look amazing?
