Fans are losing their minds over the new changes to Magic Kingdoms famous selfie spot, “the purple wall.” This morning, park-goers were surprised by a new Spaceship Earth pattern to the wall and they don’t know quite how to feel about it. The favorite photo spot is located near the entrance of Tomorrowland and just down the ramp from the Tomorrowland Terrace.
The wall has gained a huge fan following for its simplistic solid color and even has its own Instagram hashtag created by fans. Its become so popular with park guest that Disney started selling purple wall merchandise in merch shops around the parks. The “Meet Me at the Purple Wall” hats have already been a huge hit with wall fans.
Check out the Twitter posts we found with some fans perspective on the change.
