Chainsaw Clownz Scare Zone coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal Studios Hollywood is revving up the scares for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 with the announcement of its first scare zone, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Get ready to meet the Chainsaw Clownz, a demented troupe of evil jesters armed with the loudest, most bone-rattling weapon of all: chainsaws.

The reveal came via the official Halloween Horror Nights Instagram account, featuring an ominous logo — a grinning clown skull with blood-red curls, a round red nose, and two roaring chainsaws crossed behind it. The caption didn’t pull any punches, declaring: “A lot of people are terrified of clowns. Well, we’ve decided to give chainsaws to an entire troupe of evil clowns. You’re welcome.”
While HHN Hollywood is famous for its chainsaw-wielding street prowlers, this marks the first time the event has gone full tilt into an all-clown chainsaw chaos zone. Guests can expect high-decibel scares, in-your-face encounters, and plenty of maniacal laughter echoing through the park.

This scare zone joins an already loaded 2025 haunted house lineup, including Poltergeist, Fallout, WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Terrifier, JASON UN1V3RSE, Scarecrow: Music by Slash, and Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America. Plus, the fan-favorite Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse returns, celebrating 15 years of Blumhouse horror.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood runs select nights from September 4 through November 3, with tickets on sale now. Just remember: if you hear a chainsaw revving behind you… it might already be too late.
