Disney is embracing a conversational approach with both their theme parks and cast members. In fact, they are placing an emphasis on new eco-friendly cast member outfits. You can see a few of the new Disney outfits below.
For instance, the aprons in these photos are all made from fabric created from recycled plastic water bottles. Each apron is keeping 50 bottles out of the landfill.
These designer costumes are made through a process of upcycling. It’s a novel way to take trash and transform it into something even better than it was before.
So much is happening with fabric technology, which includes lightweight performance fabric created with recycled fiber. We’ve found that sweet spot to get functional and durable, vibrant fabrics with fun designs cast and guests will love.
