Disney Vacation Club recently celebrated the opening of the first phase of new cabins at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort. Nestled in the woodlands of Walt Disney World Resort, these cabins offer a relaxing retreat with the comforts of home and the joys of the great outdoors. Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, highlighted the cabins’ perfect blend of Disney magic and nature, making them an ideal place for members to create new vacation memories.

The opening event in Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground featured a celebration of the resort’s history and entertainment inspired by the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. The cabins, opening in phases throughout the year, will eventually total over 350 units. Designed with sustainability in mind, the cabins were built with minimal waste and feature on-site electric vehicle charging stations. Inside, guests will find floor-to-ceiling glass windows, Disney-themed artwork, and all the amenities of home, including a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor patio. Dog-friendly options are also available.
