Something new has opened up a new convenient way to get to The Downtown Disney District and ultimately the parks! The new pedestrian bridge has opened connecting the parking structures to the resort area.
This June, the Disneyland Resort opened up the new Pixar Pals Parking Structure. This parking area sits next to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. In doing this, the structure made available over 5,000 parking spaces for visiting guests.
Since the opening, guests visiting the new structure are enjoying the new entry way and loading zones for the tram. With the extension of the 174 foot long pedestrian walkway, getting to Downtown Disney and Disneyland is convenient for all.
The bridge extends over Magic Way and stretches all the way to the esplanade and Main Entrance of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure park. Also, a new path from the bridge to the entrance of the Downtown Disney District. This will provide easier access to all routes of the resort for all guests.
