Get ready to experience some swashbuckling stunts at the all-new Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show at LEGOLAND Florida! It’s splashy, daring, and entertaining for the whole family. Don’t believe me? My one-year-old sat through the whole show and loved it almost as much as I did.

Starting today, February 12th, 2021, Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show is open to the public. I had the incredible privilege to experience it yesterday at Media Day and was blown away. From wakeboards and water skis, pyramids, and even a flyboard, this is an event that screams “Florida!” The Head of Resort Entertainment, Jeremy Pancoast, explained that the Cypress Gardens area is a hotbed of talent and they were able to recruit some great stuntmen and women to the show. It took months of practice to perfect the stunts for their live audience. As part of their 10th birthday celebration weekends, as well as Pirate Fest Weekends (February 12-14, 20-21, 27-28), you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss it!

The stunt show takes place in Pirate Cove Stadium, an open-air arena at Lake Eloise. The lake has been home to water shows since the 1930s and LEGOLAND is proud to continue that tradition. Guests are socially distanced in the arena for added safety and masks are encouraged. While many shows and entertainment choices are being pruned back at other parks, LEGOLAND is finding ways to continue bringing safe and fun performances. Shows start at 12, 2, and 4 PM. Follow along as pirate recruits try to prove their sea-worthiness to Captain Brickbeard and new character Calico Jade with daring water stunts. The show also has humor injected into it, as well as a bit of pirate training for any hopeful privateers in your family!
