Disney Springs isn’t only a great place to shop and eat, it’s a great place to discover something new. This month, you can experience a brand new Art Walk there in the Town Center. It will feature local artists, as well as global artists, giving you a chance to get up close and personal with a range of styles and talents.
The Disney Springs Art Walk will showcase murals of vibrant color, feeling, and culture. Each artist featured will bring a unique voice and an ability to convey distinct sentiments in their work. It will be a dynamic and ever-changing adventure adding in works of art over time. Disney Springs Art Walk will go on growing and evolving.
The first set of artists whose work will be showcased includes Laci Jordan, Chad Mize, Stacey Aoyama and Eric Tan. Laci Jordan is a designer, illustrator, and Creative Director. Her art reflects pop culture and she strives to represent marginalized people in her work. Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, she presently lives in Los Angeles. Chad Mize is a multimedia artist, designer and muralist. He takes a humorous edge to his art as he delves into cultural topics. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he now lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. Stacey Aoyama is an illustrator and designer, working for Disney Consumer Products. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Eric Tan has been a designer at Disney Consumer Products for over 20 years. He is originally from San Diego, California.
Head to the Disney Springs Art Walk later this month to see these artists’ work showcased in person. And keep visiting to see what other artists will pop up!
