Disney fans love watching Neil Patrick Harris narrate the Christmas Story during the Candlelight Processional and frequently get in line hours before showtime to secure their place in the amphitheater. So it came as quite a shock when Neil Patrick Harris was not included in the 2021 Narrator line-up. Neil and his family have skipped their annual trip to Walt Disney World for the second year in a row and have opted to spend Christmas at home, but that doesn’t mean the tradition is being missed.

Neil shared a post to Instagram along with the caption, “Holiday stay-at-home, gift wrapping wardrobe. @guccidownstairs, @disney upstairs. Happy to be safe and sound at the Funhouse Farm, but must admit I’m missing the @waltdisneyworld#candlelightprocessional right about now. It’s been a huge tradition in our lives, I hope it’s still awesome this year, and can’t wait to be back in 2022. #epcot“
