The basketball bubble at Disney World is evaporating as the NBA Finals come towards the end of the post-season. However, some of the players leaving Disney World are thankful for the hard-working Disney Resort employees. In fact, NBA player, the Houston Rockets Russell Westbrook is showing his gratitude with an $8,000 tip!
Only @russwest44 would be able to truly confirm this, and I doubt he will, but I'm told that he left a $8,000 tip for the Grand Floridian housekeepers when the @HoustonRockets left the NBA bubble.
Moreover, I'm told, he left the room virtually spotless.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, Westbrook both confirmed the tip and complimented the service of the resort staff.
“They took great care of us. Took the time and energy to do their job at a high level. That was the right thing. I like to do the right thing.“
Westbrook made this touching gesture after the Rockets lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games in the Western Conference Semifinals.
To summarize the NBA bubble, the league formed a comprehensive plan for a July 30 restart to the 2019-20 season. The bubble included stringent health and safety protocols, a single-site campus at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the goal of taking collective action to combat systemic racism and promote social justice.
