Alien Veggie Meatball Pizza
The clawwwww!! Here’s a pizza that would delight our favorite three-eyed aliens! Making the alien faces is a great opportunity to showcase creative skills in the kitchen. It’s also a clever way to get young Toy Story fans to eat more vegetables on their pizza. The steps and directions are below.
2 cups of cauliflower florets
1/4 cup basil pesto
2 large egg whites
1 cup of cooked green peas
1/2 cup of white kidney beans
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
Medium asparagus spears. Cut into 48 separate 1-inch tips to make the ears and antennas.
1 ounce goat cheese for eyes.
1/4 cup of black olives. Slice thin to use for eyes and mouths.
1 cup tomato sauce (no sugar or salt)
16 ounces of 100% whole wheat pizza dough
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
Measuring cups and spoons
It’s important to properly cook the meatballs first before adding them to the pizza! You can use a conventional oven in place of a pizza maker.
Rocket Ship Pizza
The steps to make the Rocket Ship Pizza is similar to the directions for making the Alien Veggie Meatball Pizza.
