What to Expect from Magic of the Disney Treasure

From design dreams to setting sail, Magic of the Disney Treasure charts the journey of bringing this storytelling-packed ship to life. The documentary promises a closer look at the Disney magic onboard—including a Broadway-style adaptation of Moana from its early rehearsals to its grand debut.

Fans of Disney Pixar’s Coco will love seeing how Imagineers transformed the animated world into the vibrant Plaza de Coco restaurant. And for those drawn to the spooky side of Disney, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will come to life on screen, with a peek into the illusions that conjure “grim grinning ghosts” at sea.

Launched last year, the Disney Treasure is themed entirely around adventure. Highlights onboard include:

The ship joins a magical fleet alongside the Disney Magic, Wonder, Fantasy, Dream, Wish, and soon, the upcoming Disney Destiny—set to sail on November 20, 2025. Looking ahead, the Disney Adventure will launch from Singapore on December 15, 2025, and Disney’s cruise reach will expand even further with ships planned for Japan (2029) and three smaller vessels scheduled for 2029–2031.
