Catch the Disney Treasure Documentary March 28
Lights, camera, cruise! Prepare for an exclusive peek behind the magic as National Geographic unveils its latest documentary. Building on the success of “Making the Wish,” this new special dives deep into the creation of the Disney Treasure, revealing how Disney Cruise Line masterfully translates iconic film and park experiences into breathtaking seafaring adventures.

The film gives a peek behind the curtain of the first Broadway-style adaptation of the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit, Moana, and travels to Mexico for an inside look at the creation of Plaza de Coco, an onboard restaurant inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios’ film, Coco. And you won’t want to miss the unprecedented glimpse into the realm of illusions that Disney Imagineers build inside Haunted Mansion Parlor, an immersive bar themed to the Disney Parks’ Haunted Mansion attractions.
“Magic of the Disney Treasure” premieres this Friday, March 28 at 10 p.m. EST on the National Geographic Channel. Tune in for a full evening of Disney programming that kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EST with “EPCOT Becoming: Inside the Transformation,” followed by “Making the Wish: Disney’s Newest Cruise Ship.”
The evening will conclude with a showing of “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point” at 11 p.m. EST and a second chance to see “EPCOT Becoming: Inside the Transformation” and “Magic of the Disney Treasure” at 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. EST on March 29. You can also catch the debut of the documentary on Disney+ and Hulu on March 29.
