Naples Ristorante e Bar Announces 25th Anniversary Pizza Contest
If you fancy yourself a pizza connoisseur or have a secret family recipe that always wows the crowd, your time to shine has arrived!
Naples Ristorante e Bar, the beloved Italian staple located right in the heart of Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District, is celebrating a massive milestone this summer: its 25th anniversary! To mark a quarter-century of serving up incredible Italian cuisine, they are handing the keys to the kitchen over to the fans with the launch of the “Ultimate Slice Showdown” pizza contest.
Submissions are officially open, and the grand prize is every foodie’s dream—a spot on Naples’ Fall 2026 menu!
Opened way back in 2001 as part of the original Downtown Disney District lineup, Naples Ristorante e Bar is a true Disney classic. In fact, it remains one of only two original restaurants still operating from the district’s debut (alongside Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio)! Over the last 25 years, it has become the ultimate gathering place for locals and tourists alike, famous for its authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas, scratch-made pastas, and vibrant atmosphere.
“We could not think of a better way to celebrate 25 years in the Downtown Disney District than putting a spotlight on our guests,” said Seth Rose, Chief Operating Officer for Patina Group. “Naples’ pizzas have been the anchor of our menus since the beginning, alongside those who have dined with us all these years. To recognize those loyal customers by giving them the opportunity to share their treasured recipes on our menu speaks to the family we have fostered since 2001.”
Starting today, pizza makers and enthusiasts can submit their best, unique pizza concepts.
Finalists will be selected in early August and invited to showcase their culinary creations live at a special ticketed tasting event on September 12. A panel of culinary experts from the Patina Group and the local community will judge the entries to crown the pizza champions.
The stakes are delicious:
- First Place: The grand prize winner will have their pizza creation officially featured on Naples’ Fall 2026 menu and receive dining vouchers to celebrate!
- Runner-Up: The runner-up will receive dining vouchers and have their creation featured as the Pizza of the Month at Napolini, Naples’ popular quick-service location.

How to Enter
Ready to cook up a winner? Contest entries must be submitted through the official form at www.naplesristorante.com/ultimate-slice-showdown.
Your entry must include a complete pizza concept detailing your choice of sauce, cheese, and toppings, along with your contact information. If you have more than one great idea up your sleeve, good news—multiple entries are permitted as long as each submission is unique!
