First Look at the Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Collection
The Muppets are officially taking over! Even though we have a few weeks to wait before the ride opens, you can already snag Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets pressed pennies at Hollywood Studios. It’s a bittersweet milestone for fans, as the Aerosmith era officially came to an end when the attraction closed its doors on March 1.

Even with the attraction’s doors currently closed for its Muppets-themed reimagining, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard and its surrounding kiosks remain fully accessible to guests. Located right next to the Rock Your Face kiosk, you’ll find a familiar pressed penny machine that was previously housed inside Rock Around the Shop. While the machine itself is a returning favorite, it now features four brand-new ‘Under Construction’ designs starring the Muppets to celebrate the ride’s new era.
Each of the new coins features the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets logo alongside ‘Under Construction 2026’ stylized as caution tape. The set highlights a fun mix of characters: Fozzie Bear, Bean Bunny, Sweetums, and the Swedish Chef. While Fozzie, Bean, and Sweetums are decked out in standard hardhats, the Swedish Chef takes it a step further with a headlamp and a saw in hand.
While these specific characters aren’t expected to be the headliners of the new attraction—which is set to star The Electric Mayhem, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Scooter, and the penguins—their appearance here suggests we might see some fun cameos when the coaster debuts this summer.
