Stuffed with the sniffles, BOB, NOT BOB! by Audrey Vernick and Liz Garton Scanlon with illustrations by Matthew Cordell, is immediately relatable to any child (or adult!) who’s had a bad cold, when the only thing you want is someone to take care of you. You see, every time sick Little Louie calls out for “Mom,” his stuffed-up nose brings Bob the dog running instead. Filled with wordplay and situational comedy, BOB, NOT BOB! begs to be read aloud, and it pairs especially well with snuggling.
