“Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America” Creeps into Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood
The fog is rising, the legends are stirring—and the spirits of Latin America are ready to haunt once more. Universal Studios Hollywood just summoned its first original haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2025, and it’s the third chilling chapter in a fan-favorite saga: Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.

This terrifying trilogy returns with a vengeance, bringing three legendary spirits out of the shadows and into your nightmares. The official teaser says it best:
“One wails. One bites. One beguiles.”
Brace yourself for a face-to-face encounter with:
- La Llorona – The weeping woman whose mournful cries echo through the dark
- La Muelona – The monstrous man-eater with a jaw full of fangs and no mercy
- La Siguanaba – A deceptive spirit who lures with beauty… then horrifies with her true face
All three are summoned by none other than La Muerte herself, beckoning guests into a cursed journey through folklore most terrifying.
A Haunting Legacy
The original Monstruos house debuted in 2023 with “The Monsters of Latin America,” including La Lechuza, Tlahuelpuchi, and El Silbón. Its 2024 sequel, Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America, introduced El Charro, El Cadejo, and El Cucuy. This year’s house continues the haunting lineage—and if past screams are any indicator, Monstruos 3 will be a must-scream experience.
The Monstruos series proved so popular, it eventually made the jump to Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights 33. No word yet if this year’s installment will creep its way east, but horror fans across both coasts are keeping a watchful eye.

Event Details
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood will run on select nights from September 4 through November 2, with Monstruos 3 joining a growing lineup that already includes:
- “Fallout” – the post-apocalyptic video game world comes terrifyingly to life
- “JASON UN1V3RSE” – a blood-soaked multi-era twist on Friday the 13th
- “Five Nights at Freddy’s” – details still lurking in the shadows…
