From Grand Avenue to Monstropolis
Guests will enter the land through an archway from Grand Avenue, stepping into the bustling city of Monstropolis, where monsters live, work, and play. The former Gonzo’s Royal Flush restrooms will receive a monstrous makeover, complete with teeth adorning the roofline. A new fountain, featuring a giant eyeball, will replace the Miss Piggy as Ms. Liberty fountain.
Farewell to Muppet*Vision 3D
The iconic Muppet*Vision 3D theater will be reimagined as “The Monstro,” with a prominent eye motif on the marquee. Billboards advertising Monsters, Inc. will line the rooftops, replacing familiar Muppet-themed signage.

The concept art suggests that both PizzeRizzo and Stage 1 Company Store will be demolished to make way for expanded walkways and green space within the land.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Relocation?
The former It’s A Wonderful Shop appears to be transformed into a theater showcasing Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, currently located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. While this could indicate a relocation of the attraction, it remains uncertain.
Harryhausen’s Sushi Restaurant
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano will be replaced with Harryhausen’s, the sushi restaurant from the first “Monsters, Inc.” film. The concept art depicts a trapezoid-shaped building with chopsticks forming the entryway and a giant eyeball perched on top.
Monsters, Inc. Headquarters and Coaster
At the heart of the land, guests will find the imposing Monsters, Inc. headquarters, housing the previously announced door conveyor belt suspended coaster. This M-shaped building will dominate the skyline, complete with multiple smokestacks.
Muppets Relocating to Sunset Boulevard
While Muppet*Vision 3D will be closing, the Muppets themselves are not leaving Hollywood Studios. They will be relocating to Sunset Boulevard, taking over the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
The transformation of Muppet Courtyard into Monsters, Inc. Land marks a significant change for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, promising a new level of immersive storytelling and exciting experiences for guests.
