The Orange County Register is reporting that Disneyland will expand mobile ordering when the parks reopen.
There is no set reopening date for Disneyland right now, however, when the parks do open again, mobile ordering will be highly encouraged as the primary way to order food and drinks.
Mobile ordering at select restaurants will promote contactless payments, reduce wait times, help encourage social distancing, and cut down on long lines.
Mobile ordering is already in place on the Disneyland app for select quick service restaurants. The feature will be expanded to include other payment options like Apple Pay and Disney Gift Cards when the parks reopen. The minimum age for mobile ordering will also be lowered from 18 to 13.
Disneyland has not released information on which restaurants will be added to the mobile ordering feature. According to the Disneyland website, the following restaurants do not offer mobile ordering:
Disneyland
- Clarabelle’s
- Daisy’s Diner
- French Market
- Market House
- Plaza Inn
- Pluto’s Dog House
- Rancho del Zocalo
Disney California Adventure
- Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe
- Ghirardelli Soda Fountain
- Cozy Cone Motel
- Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta
Stay tuned for more information on Disneyland and its reopening!
