Moat Near Cinderella’s Castle Drained In Preparation For Construction

A few weeks ago, we broke the news that the pathway connecting Fantasyland to Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom was fully opened once again.  This pathway underwent construction to widen the walkway guests take to get from one area to the other.

The pathway on the other side of Cinderella’s Castle will also be widened.  In preparation for this project, the moat has been drained.  The path that will be widened has been highlighted in red above.

Take a look at these photos of the moat being drained. I personally cannot even begin to imagine all of the items that were recovered once the water was removed from the moat!

This pathway connects Fantasyland to Liberty Square near Sleepy Hollow is the location of this construction.  Like the other pathway, this path is also prone to bottlenecking due to it being so narrow.  Take a look!  Widening this path should help alleviate this bottlenecking.
