With a whopping 178 million views in just 24 hours, it surpassed previous records held by “Inside Out 2” (157 million), “Frozen 2” (116 million), and even “Incredibles 2” (113 million). “Moana remains an incredibly popular franchise,” Bob Iger, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company, said when the sequel was announced in February. “And we can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when Moana 2 comes to theaters this November.”
