Dive into Adventure with Moana and Real-Life Heroes

Get ready to set sail with Moana and Maui on November 27th for Moana 2’s theatrical premiere, but the adventure doesn’t stop there! Disney is teaming up with the National Geographic Society’s Pristine Seas initiative and the Polynesian Voyaging Society to protect our real-life oceans and inspire the Moana in all of us.

The campaign features a brand new featurette that explores the ocean’s magic. It connects us, provides for us, and fuels epic adventures – just like in Moana! But our oceans need our help. By working with Pristine Seas, Disney is supporting the creation of marine protected areas, like underwater national parks, to keep our oceans healthy for everyone.

Remember how Moana navigated by the stars? The Polynesian Voyaging Society keeps this incredible tradition alive! Their sacred canoe, Hōkūleʻa, has sailed nearly 300,000 miles, reconnecting cultures and reminding us of our deep connection to nature. The Moanauiākea Voyage will continue this mission next year, uniting communities and inspiring action for a healthier planet. Take a look at this video!
