In the lobby area of the Walt Disney Presents movie theater, guests can find exciting artwork for the upcoming film, “Moana 2.” A large poster featuring the main characters, Moana and Maui, dominates one wall. The film follows Moana as she assembles a crew and reunites with Maui to embark on a thrilling adventure to break a curse.

The exhibit showcases 3D maquettes of Moana and Maui, the beloved characters voiced by Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, respectively. These detailed models serve as valuable reference tools for animators. Alongside the maquettes, concept art adorns the wall, offering a glimpse into the visual style of the film. One particularly striking piece depicts Moana and Maui in the style of Maui’s intricate tattoos.

The concept art provides a glimpse into the world of Moana 2. One piece showcases a serene island scene with Moana’s outrigger canoe on the beach. Another artwork introduces five new characters, including Moana’s three crew members and her parents. A notable addition to the family is Moana’s baby sister. The artwork also features the formidable Kakamora ships, depicted as giant scallops with menacing eyes and tentacles

On the opposite side of the case, visitors can admire maquettes of Moana’s beloved animal companions, Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster. Pua and Heihei, voiced by Alan Tudyk, bring humor and heart to the film. The artwork behind these maquettes continues the stunning tattoo style, offering fans a glimpse into the vibrant world of Moana 2.

The concept art offers a glimpse into the thrilling adventures that await Moana and her crew. One piece depicts a fleet of boats sailing away from the picturesque island of Motunui. Another showcases Moana, her crew, and her loyal animal companions, Pua and Heihei, embarking on a journey aboard a small sailboat, alongside a mischievous Kakamora. The artwork also includes playful sketches of Pua and Heihei, as well as a full-color depiction of the Kakamora fleet. These small, coconut-armored creatures are sure to add excitement and humor to the film.

The artwork on display offers a glimpse into the spiritual depth of Moana 2. One piece depicts Moana on her outrigger canoe, gazing down at a luminous spirit whale. Another showcases Moana atop a mountain, blowing a conch shell as birds soar around her, symbolizing her connection to nature and the divine.
