This week we have seen further development at the new M&M Store in Disney Springs showing more construction update! M&M, one of the world’s most famous chocolate brands, announced its arrival to Disney Springs last year. Promising a “state of the art store” creating a “fully immersive chocolate experience” to bring delight to fans of all ages. If the store is anything like its other famous sibling shops throughout the world, guests are going to be in chocolate heaven!
In terms of construction, back in August 2020, we saw some of the construction walls erect creating the shape of the outside of the building. Now in December 2020, it seems further work has been completed on the outside, as shown by the iconic fan structure around the new window of the M&M Store! As you can see from the photos, the building is really taking shape, from the definite box-like walls and large windows at the right corner of the building. You can also see the alcove taking shape on the front, left side of the building where a potential meet and greet could take place as hinted in the concept art photo from the M&M Store in Disney Springs website!
The upcoming store is located on the West side of Disney Springs. Visitors will find it by the Orange Garage near the NBA Experience and Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Being such a beloved sweet treat, many Disney fans are excited to see the candy and retail products available within the upcoming M&M store.
When the store was first announced last year, it was reported to open in 2020. However, due to COVID-19, it seems more realistic that this store will open in 2021. This store will definitely be worth the wait!
