The flowerbed is located at the entrance of Disneyland park just inside the turnstiles. Minnie is made up of purple and white flowers with a big green bow. Over 1,750 individual plants are included in the flowerbed.
March marks Women’s History Month, honoring the impactful women who have influenced the course of history. Minnie Mouse, introduced by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in “Steamboat Willie” (1928), made her debut alongside Mickey Mouse. While Walt Disney initially provided Minnie’s voice, a succession of talented women have lent their voices to the character since 1929. These include Marjorie Ralston, Marcellite Garner, Leone LeDoux, Thelma Boardman, Ruth Clifford, Janet Waldo, Russi Taylor, and currently, Kaitlyn Robrock.
