If you have tiny tots around the house, there’s no doubt that you’re already pretty familiar with these cream red-waxed mini cheeses. Well you’re about to see a lot more of them in and around the Disney theme parks as Disney announced this week that Mini Babybel®, has been named the Official Snack Cheese of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Disneyland Resort in California and Disney Cruise Line. The announcement marks the start of a multi-year alliance between the two companies.
As part of this partnership, Mini Babybel will be featured at a quick-service window within the new Toy Story Land which is scheduled to open in 2018 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. The location dubbed Woody’s Lunchbox will boast fun and unique theming. The area will be made to look like Andy’s vintage Woody-themed lunch box propped open with a thermos. This new eatery will serve tasty meals as well as old-fashioned soda floats. The neighboring area will have classic books and toys strewn about along with larger-than-life lunchbox items. Carlos Casto, vice president of Disney Corporate Alliances had this to say about the collaboration, “We can’t wait for our guests to experience Toy Story Land, and the new quick-service window within the land will surely delight hungry toys and people alike. We are thrilled to collaborate with Mini Babybel and introduce additional snack offerings in Toy Story Land and throughout Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort.
