Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is my ALL TIME FAVORITE time to visit Walt Disney World. Every year tickets go on sale in the spring for the event and guests clammer at the computer to get their hands on the best dates for the festive party held at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Last year tickets went on sale on March 18th, which leads us to believe is it just a matter of time before they go on sale for 2019! Last year tickets were released the earliest they have ever been. With the announcement of Star Wars; Galaxy’s Edge opening earlier than originally proposed(August 29th, 2019), we can’t help but wonder if they will open up even more dates for the Christmas party this year to draw crowds away from Hollywood Studios.
There are several attractions open at Magic Kingdom during the event, though attractions and experiences are subject to change, here’s a list of what was available at the 2018 event:
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Splash Mountain
- Fantasyland
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Space Mountain
In addition to the attractions, there are character meet and greets in holiday costumes, exclusive treats and drinks, the Once Upon a Christmas Parade, and so much more!
