Mickey Mouse to Celebrate 90 Years with a Spectacular Television Special on ABC

Mickey Mouse has been a staple in entertainment since his film debut in Steamboat Willie which premiered Nov 18, 1928. To celebrate 90 years of bringing joy and magic to fans of all ages, Disney is hosting “Mickey’s 90th Spectacular,” a prime-time, two-hour television special set to take place at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov 4, 2018 on ABC. The Spectacular is taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.

To celebrate Mickey’s big day an impressive lineup of stars from film, music, and television, has been put together to make the special a one-of-a-kind event you do not want to miss. Showcased will be musical performances, never-before-seen short films, and moving tributes to our favorite mouse. The star-studded lineup includes: Skylar Astin, Kellsea Ballerini, Kristen Bell, Miles Brown, Anna Camp, Sofia Carson, Wendy McLendon-Covey, Josh Gad, Tony Hale, Sarah Hyland, and Sage Steele. We will also witness special musical performances by: Josh Groban, NCT 127, Meaghan Trainor, Zac Brown Band, Leslie Odom Jr., Luis Fonsi and Tori Kelly. As always Mickey will also be joined by his pals: Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

Mickey Mouse has been a global ambassador for the Walt Disney Company for decades and brings delight and wonder to fans all over the world. All six Disney Parks: Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Shanghai, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland, will be celebrating Mickey’s Birthday well into 2019. Guests of the parks will get to celebrate at special offerings varying at the different parks.
