Mickey Balloon Popcorn Buckets are the perfect keepsake. Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary started on October 1st, 2021. When the Magic Kingdom opened its doors that day, fans were treated to brand new Mickey Ear Popcorn Buckets being sold at popcorn stands. Each stand had a different color that sold for $18.00. The buckets sold out rather quickly.
With 4 colors to choose from, Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. The Mickey Balloon Popcorn Buckets have been elusive to find at best. What seems like every other week a color or two would pop up inside Magic Kingdom. It was not until this past weekend we actually saw all four for sale at once. Which made finishing our personal collection easy to finish.
We had previously been able to find the Blue Mickey Balloon Popcorn Buckets. We got that back in early October. Then 2 weeks later we found the Green bucket. Since we had decided we were just going to roll the dice and only collect the buckets if, and only if, we found them ourselves inside the Magic Kingdom Park. So, finally, after a few weeks, we spotted Gold and Red in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
If you are lucky to be in the parks and see these for sale, they are awesome looking as a set. We are looking to buy clear filament or fishing line to hang ours up at different levels and add a string to the bottoms, so they appear to be floating up into the air like a child just lost a balloon to the sky gods.
We recommend buying the Mickey Popcorn bucket and the Minnie sipper. Our idea that we have to finish is having the strings going to their hands so it looks like they are holding them. The ideas are endless, and we will keep you updated on our progress. You can see how happy we are to naturally have completed our set!
