Starting September 29th, Matsuriza and the JAMMitors will change their regular performance schedule. Due to major changes affecting multiple entertainment offerings across the Walt Disney World Resort; the two groups will only be playing 5 days of the week. Playing only Thursdays through Mondays.
According to Disney, Matsurzia is “a group of traditional Japanese drummers who perform intricate musical arrangements on giant drums—in a dazzling display of pure physical stamina.” They perform in the Japenese Pavillon in the World Showcase at Epcot.
Meanwhile, the JAMMitors perform in Future World at Epcot. The JAMMitors keep “the streets of Epcot are alive with the syncopated sounds of the funkiest janitors around. Using “found” instruments like trash cans, brooms, and tin cans.”
This news comes while Epcot is currently changing many things; including the closing of Club Cool, the removal of the Leave A Legacy monoliths, and the addition of the new Ratatouille ride.
