Marvel Studios is getting into the Halloween spirit this year with the upcoming Disney+ special presentation ”Werewolf By Night.”
The special is a tribute to the classic horror and brings monsters to the center stage. The special is filmed primarily in black and white, too. Even though we must wait a week before the premiere, the early reviews on Rotten Tomatoes show the Halloween special is getting near-perfect scores!

On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader. In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic-a hunt that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous monster. Among them is Jack Russell aka Werewolf By Night (Gael García Bernal) and Ulysses’ estranged daughter Elsa (Laura Donnelly).
Inspired by horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, the chilling special aims to evoke a sense of dread and macabre, with plenty of suspense and scares along the way as we explore a new corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We are certainly excited to see what this Disney+ special has to offer since Marvel Comics have given us wonderful horror characters over the years! Seeing a story involving the supernatural side of the MCU will be delightful this spooky season.
Marvel’s Werewolf By Night premieres October 7th, 2022 on Disney+.
