Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Shares New ‘Avengers‘ Movies are On the Way! as the Marvel Cinematic Universe moves into Phase 4 with the premiere of WandaVision fans have been questioning if Avengers: Endgame spelled the end for The Avengers as a group. Marvel Studios President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige has shared that despite the losses of chief characters such as Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff Marvel Studios has no plans to disband The Avengers.
Back in 2019, Feige was featured in an interview with IGN talking about the future of the MCU post Endgame. IGN asked Kevin Feige if we will see new Avengers movies in the future to which he replied, “I would have to think so. I would have to say yes, at some point. It’s a good title. Could use that.”
Feige also spoke with IGN about how Phase 4 will shed light on characters we love and introduce new characters that will help usher in the new era of storytelling for Marvel Studios. “We had a movie this year called Avengers: Endgame, and it is very much an ending, as you saw, to so many of those characters,” Feige said. “So Phase 4 is about beginnings, and Phase 4 is about learning new things about characters you already think you know, like Black Widow; meeting incredible new characters like The Eternals and Shang-Chi[.]”
Which movies are you excited to see in Phase 4 and 5? How do you think The Avengers will move forward now that Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are gone? Who will join and lead the next generation of heroes? We would love to hear your thoughts and predictions in the comments.
