Everyone’s favorite web-slinging superhero is back in action! Marvel Studios has released the new teaser trailer for this summer’s highly anticipated film Spider-Man: Far From Home. This is the second film in this current series. The new film follows along with the storyline from the 2017 film, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
In this installment, we join Peter Parker on a class trip to Europe with his friends. Seeking a break from his superhero duties, Peter decides to put his spider suit aside for the summer. What could go wrong? Enter Nick Fury to ask for Spider-man’s help in his own unique way. Under Fury’s tutelage, Parker learns more about the importance of his role as Spider-Man. This leads to the web-slinger flying into action to save his friends and fight the villain known as Mysterio.
With the same all-star cast, we’ve come to expect from these films, Spider-Man: Far From Home does not disappoint. The cast includes many of our favorite actors and characters including Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders, as Agent Maria Hill, Zendaya as Michelle Jones, and Marisa Tomei as Peter’s Aunt May. New to this Spider-Man franchise is Jake Gyllenhaal, bringing the role of Quinten Beck and therefore Mysterio to life.
This film may or may not answer all of the questions we all have in mind. Mainly, when does this film fall within the Avengers series? As we can see from the trailer, many of these characters are in much better shape than when we last saw them.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for release in theaters nationwide on July 5th. Stay tuned for more details as we receive them.
