Marvel Relaunches 'Ultimate' Comic Line With Great SuccessMarvel Relaunches 'Ultimate' Comic Line With Great Success
Marvel Comics recently relaunched their Ultimate line, making it easier for new readers to jump in with their favorite heroes. The beginning stems from the recent ‘Death of Spider-Man’ arc that traveled quickly across the news over the past few months. Fans can now get to know their new Spider-Mar, Miles Morales, a hero for the new generation. I’ve been a big fan of the Ultimates line since it started, and I can say that new fans and old fans alike can jump into these new series without feeling overwhelmed by things like continuity. They have really revitalized the Ultimates line, and I highly recommend them. This has given Marvel a great sales boost and is something that should you should definitely check out. Hit the jump for Marvel’s press release.

Readers are loving the new Ultimate Comics Universe, but don’t take our word for it – see what the critics have to say!

“The future of Marvel is Miles Morales. And he’s exactly who Spider-Man should be in 2011.” – Brett White, ComicBookResources.com

“With some stellar artwork and a character that is extremely relatable, this is a different Spider-Man for a new generation. Unsure, unfocused, and more than a little scared over his new power, I’m definitely with Miles Morales for the long haul.” – David Pepose, Newsarama.com on Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #3

“Sara Pichelli again makes a case for her being superhero comics’ next big thing, offering up simple and clean page layouts with some of the most expressive character work out there.” – Joey Esposito, IGN.com on Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #3

“Issue #1 of Ultimate Comics X-Men made this new reader feel completely at home in the world of the story.” – Andy Khouri, ComicsAlliance.com on Ultimate Comics X-Men #1

“Spencer has found a vein that he can tap much energy from for his comic, and Medina’s pencils are a perfect fit for such vision.” – Rafael Gaitan, ComicsBulletin.com on Ultimate Comics X-Men #1
