‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Cast Reveal Smashes Marvel Livestream Record with 275 Million Views
Earth’s mightiest heroes just broke the internet.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement livestream shattered records this week, drawing a jaw-dropping 275 million digital views across platforms and officially becoming the most-watched Marvel Studios livestream of all time. Held on Wednesday, the event also sparked 3.1 million social interactions and dominated trending charts with over 55 separate hashtags — with #AvengersDoomsday holding the No. 1 trending spot on X (formerly Twitter) for more than seven hours straight.
The livestream, which began at 11 a.m. ET, stretched over five hours and 27 minutes and culminated in the unveiling of 27 cast chairs — each one representing a key player in what is shaping up to be Marvel’s biggest crossover yet.
The all-star ensemble includes returning legends, rising stars, and a few multiversal surprises:

Cast members from Thunderbolts (releasing May 2) and The Fantastic Four: First Steps (hitting theaters July 25) are confirmed to play pivotal roles in the upcoming Avengers epic, further expanding the connective tissue between Marvel’s upcoming phases.
The stream’s momentum didn’t stop with its live airing — it continued to climb, with the official Marvel YouTube livestream hitting #2 on the platform’s trending chart within 24 hours.
