Mark Ruffalo Confirms "Talks" of His Appearance in Marvel Studios' 'She-Hulk' Series

Mark Ruffalo Confirms “Talks” of His Appearance in Marvel Studios’ ‘She-Hulk’ Series. Since the first Avengers film,  Mark Ruffalo has played the part of The Hulk/Bruce Banner and has been a staple in the MCU. The activist and actor had some concerns not too long ago about his position as The Hulk/Bruce Banner when he had not heard from Marvel Studios since the press tour and premiere of Avengers: Endgame in 2019. His growing concern seems to have been relieved after he shared the news that Marvel has not forgotten him and is in early talks to join the cast of Marvel Studios She-Hulk live-action series coming to Disney+.

“There’s nothing completely at a place where it’s a done deal,” Ruffalo shared with Variety. “There’s some talk of having Banner/Hulk show up in She–Hulk. If we come up with something good, that would be really interesting. Right now that’s about it. That’s all there is on the table.”

Ruffalo also expressed interest in getting a standalone film for The Hulk/Bruce Banner, but feels the character(s) has been sidelined up to this point, though he is hopeful for the chance to tell Bruce and Hulks stories in a solo featured film.

“There’s an idea that I think could be really interesting. We’ve never really followed him into his life. He’s always kind of off on the side. He’s like the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the Avengers. It’d be interesting to fill in all the blanks about what happened to him in between all these movies.”

It is currently unknown if Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk/Bruce Banner will merely appear in a cameo style role, reoccurring role, or as a main character in the She-Hulk series. Other casting choices and formal storylines have yet to be announced at this time. It is also unknown if the series will follow the same script as the comics for Jennifer/She-Hulk’s origin story.
