Though it may sound far-fetched the reality of a role for Mark Hamill in the next Guardians of the Galaxy film is not as impossible as it may seem according to a recent piece on Stan Lee’s website.
As the story goes, a big fan of both film franchises posted the following tweet earlier this week:
@JamesGunn, could you do me a huge favour and find a role for @HamillHimself in Guardians 3? The awesomeness of it might end me, but I’m willing to risk it. Thanks ??

He flagged both James Gunn (the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy films) and Mark Hamill. Ian woke up the next morning to this fantastic message from James Gunn:
I think @HamillHimself lives around the corner from me in Malibu so he can just come over and we can talk about it over a cup of coffee.

But it didn’t stop there dear readers! At this point Mark Hamill decided to enter the conversation!:

However, fans can’t help but hope that the Galaxies could collide with a potential role for Hamill.
