Universal Orlando just announced that Mardi Gras is returning starting February 6th and running until March 28th. This year will be a little different and it’s official name is Mardi Gras International Flavors of Carnaval! They will be expanding and having food from different countries and some amazing entertainment.
Universal’s website says, “Experience an international food fest with cuisine and entertainment inspired by international Carnaval celebrations. Sample the flavors of Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Germany, Spain and other regions including, of course, New Orleans. Plus enjoy spectacular floats on display, street entertainment, music, beads and more throughout the theme park.”

While there is no parade this year floats will be throughout the theme park, “A fleet of Pirate Treasure themed floats will be on display throughout the park along with a collection of Universal’s classic Mardi Gras floats.” You’ll also be able to experience street entertainment, roving musicians, beads and more throughout the theme park.
Head over to this outdoor courtyard environment to snag a selfie with one of the three floats around the stage. Grab a table and relax with some good eats under dazzling lights.
