This chocolate cupcake has a caramel filling and is topped with a purple icing, shiny pears and a rhino cutout!  It’s the perfect treat while you’re relaxing at Animal Kingdom Lodge and doing a little animal watching!

You can grab it at The Mara for $5.99 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan! It’s one treat we can’t wait to try!

The cupcake is also the perfect finish to a delicious lunch or dinner at The Mara. This is a Quick Service restaurant with a unique flair.  Make sure you try the African Potjie a hearty stew with Beef, Turkey, Ham, Carrots, Potatoes, Peas, Chickpeas and Raisins that is served over Basmati Rice or the Braai Chicken Flatbread with Oak-fired Chicken, Sun-dried Tomato Pesto, Bacon, Red Onion, Mozzarella and Sag Dahl Ranch!

They also have more traditional fare like Burgers, Chicken Nuggets and Pepperoni Flatbread!  It’s a must for us when we’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!
