Mannequin in Wheelchair Added to World of Disney in Disney Springs. We have seen Disney World try to become more inclusive and represent everyone recently. This is a long-term goal of the Walt Disney Company, but it is great to see it implemented locally. Importantly, it is nice to see World of Disney have this right in front, and not just put randomly in the back of the store.
This is not the first time we have seen Disney try and represent the whole community. Recently in Disneyland, for the “it’s a small world” 25th Anniversary Holiday overlay, we saw a few dolls added that were wheelchair-bound. Furthermore, we have seen mannequins added to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot that represent people with disabilities.
