The best place for little princesses to shop in the Magic Kingdom has to be Sir Mickey’s. There, they can find the dress of their dreams, plus the accessories to make it an outfit. Seriously, don’t take your daughters in there unless you’re willing to drop some cash. However, there is something you and your kids can get for free at Sir Mickey’s: pixie dust!

The pixie dust has been gone since Walt Disney World’s closure in March 2020, but it’s making a comeback just in time for the Resort’s 50th anniversary! With a brand new wand emblazoned with the 50th Anniversary Logo on the star-shaped end, Cast Members pass out the pixie dust in a magical way. Just ask a Cast Member at Sir Mickey’s for some pixie dust and they will escort you to the register where they keep the special wand. The Cast Member will then say a little pixie dust incantation and use the wand to sprinkle glitter on their subject. Anyone can ask for a dusting, just make sure you don’t attempt to fly afterward! It’s not the same pixie dust that Tinkerbell uses. But that doesn’t stop it from creating a magical memory for you and your kids!
