Make-A-Wish Children of the Past, Present, and Future Named as Godchildren of Disney Wish

For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a cruise ship is bestowing the title of grandchildren on Make-A-Wish children. All Make-A-Wish children, past, present, and future. This significant role symbolically conveys good fortune on the ship. And what a deserving group of kids to receive this distinction!

Make-A-Wish kids, the godchildren of the Disney Wish

In the past, Disney has made use of godmothers for their cruise ships. These include Patty Disney, Tinker Bell, Jennifer Hudson, and Mariah Carey. Disney Cruise Line is continuing their support of wish-granting organizations through other endeavors, such as a new merchandise collection and the donation of a stateroom aboard the Disney Wish.
The exclusive merchandising line includes Mickey and Minnie plushies, an ear headband, a trading pin, a spirit jersey, and a tumbler. They are donating 10% of the purchase price from the sale of every item in the Disney Wish Limited Edition Collection now through July 18th, 2023, to Make-A-Wish. The entire Disney Wish Limited Edition Collection is available on the Disney Wish, and select items are obtainable on shopDisney.com, starting on July 18th, 2022. The stateroom that was donated aboard the Disney Wish raised more than $260,000 to benefit Make-A-Wish and Give Kids The World Village.
