Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios quickly noticed a change in signage outside of Voyage of the Little Mermaid. The colorful billboard for the attraction was taken down, which led to speculation about the future of the show.
Disney took note of the questions and gave an update to clarify the reason for the removal. They reassure Disney Park fans that the attraction is here to stay for the foreseeable future. The billboard is simply being refreshed for maintenance and will soon return with the week. So any fans of the Voyage of the Little Mermaid can feel at ease about the show staying!
The photo above shows what the exterior looked like a few days ago. Disney also removed a Star Wars billboard, but it’s expected a new promotional billboard will take its place.
