MagicBands to be used for Extra Magic Hours at Walt Disney World

It seems as though Disney will now be using MagicBands for entry into the parks for Extra Magic hours.

Hollywood Studios will be testing the use of MagicBands for entry into the park for Extra Magic Hours later on this week.

On October 25, 27, and November 2, guests will be required to scan their MagicBand to a handheld device carried by cast members outside of the turnstiles. Once they are validated as resort guests, then they can enter through the turnstiles.

Once your are inside the park, the MagicBands will again be used to scan to a handheld device before you get into every attraction.

Resort guests without MagicBands can still use their Key to the World Card.

Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust
