Disney+ Releases “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point”
Following its January premiere on National Geographic, the documentary “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point” is now available on Disney+.

The creation of Disney Cruise Line’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is chronicled in the documentary “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point,” which aired on January 17, 2025, and became available on Disney+ on February 17th.
The details describe the documentary as:
“A new story is unfolding on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, where locals and Disney Imagineers collaborate on an ambitious mission: create a sun-soaked cruise destination that is also a sustainable celebration of Bahamian culture, prioritizing the local people and wildlife. Trek, dive and dance with the team bringing Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point to life as opening day approaches.”
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney’s newest private island destination in The Bahamas, opened last summer. It emphasizes local culture with unique entertainment and offerings, such as “RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration.” Similar to Disney’s first private island, Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay features amenities like the adults-only Serenity Bay.
National Geographic released a video excerpt from the documentary featuring Theodore Elyett, the Bahamian fashion designer behind Mickey & Friends’ costumes and an apparel collection created specifically for Disney’s Lookout Cay destination.
