Magic Kingdom's Mayor 'George Weaver' has passed

We have just received word Magic Kingdom’s Mayor George Weaver has passed.

Sad to hear of the passing of Main Street, USA’s Mayor George Weaver. He always greeted me and every guest with a smile on his face, was an exceptional Cast Member, and I’m sure made Walt proud. Main Street don’t be the same without you. pic.twitter.com/QZVpUEw2mF

I have only met the Mayor of Main Street USA only once but he was such a wonderful person, he asked me to vote for him and handed me a card to remember. Loved it!!!

Every time I saw him he had a smile on his face and truly loved life.
