The Magic, The Memories, and You

One of Disney’s most popular shows “The Magic, The Memories, and You!” is closing on September 3, 2012, in order to be revamped into a brand new show. The new show is scheduled to relaunch in time to ring in the holidays this year. The original ” The Magic, The Memories and You” has had minor tweaks and changes, including seasonal showcases to keep it current, since it began in early 2011.

The new show will be different in many ways, including a new name, but will still be using the same projection technology that has made the current version so popular.

  1. Refurbishment is a bummer especially when it is a favorite attraction. I suggest making a new memory with your family on this trip and keeping hyping each other up for the anticipation of next time.

  2. Not cool. We’re trying to get there for MNSSHP, and I was hoping there would be some sort of Halloween themed show to go with Hallowishes. That’s very disappointing.

  3. This stinks! We will be here mid september! Does this mean they wont be doing any kind of show like this on the castle? And does this mean no fireworks???

  4. OHHH how sad 🙁 I am going Sept. 22nd and was looking forward to seeing it! I sooo wanted to see the pics up on the castle. Well I know they will have something good for me to see. 🙂

  5. oh no! I’m being really selfish, but I’ve been dying to see the magic, memories and you! Does anyone know how long these downtimes normally last when their being re-freshed? we go end of Sept

  6. I love this show and am really excited for something new. It is really sad for people that will not get to see it though.

  7. Really? I have been looking so forward to this and talking it up to my family. We arrive Sept. 8th. More of a warning would have been nice. Honestly, this kinda sucks.

  8. Great, the one thing my DH looks forward to and it probably won’t be running on our trip. lol Between this and Test track, I’m not sure how my son and husband are going to be looking forward to this trip… *sigh*
